Sometimes, finding what you’re looking for can be quite stressful – especially if you don’t have the time and energy to pour into reading review over review. When it gets a little overwhelming, we wish to help you turn your ideas, images and vibes into reality with our recommendations!
How we create and curate our lists
Our lists can be highly curated and personalized! After the idea is settled, we search, research and review different websites to find the best items based on the theme or request we got. It’s necessary that each products passes our golden rule below.
A featured item should:
Come from a safe and trustworthy wesbite or store;
Have mostly good reviews from real customers;
Have a general rating of at least 4.5 / 5 stars overall.
Finally the, we group the items into a recommendation list and post it as a blog post!
Generally, our go-to is the US Amazon store, because it is a widely known website that almost everyone has access to, but we will absolutely feature any website worth a mention!

Fashion finds, outfit ideas for any occasion, accessories, shoes, best websites to shop…, plus size fashion, alternative fashion and more. No matter if you love one style or the other, prefer niche designers or affordable brands, we feature it all and especially appreciate independent handcrafters!

Everything that really makes a house feel like a home, ranging from furniture, decorations, kitchen stuff and much more. We love gardens and outdoor decor as well, whether it’s the botanical or artificial part!
🪆 Collectibles & Vintage Trinkets
Art, anime and videogame figures, retro finds, dolls, k-pop merch, magazines, music albums and anything else that can be decribed as collectable, no matter its age or rarity!

Anything beauty and wellness. We find and recommend products that are deemed most effective. Cruelty-free options and skincare, haircare and makeup from all around the world (not just k-beauty!)

If you read this far, you must be curious about who’s behind Isabel’s Wishlist. Let me introduce myself!
I’m a big introvert with a lot of interests. I always enjoy talking about the things I like and think there’s value in sharing those preferences, experiences and hobbies with others, even strangers! It’s fun, inspiring, and you might even find yourself with solutions to the smaller problems on your hands.
Until I realized that sharing ideas, information,and hobbies – just for fun or with a means to an end… Is essentially the definition of a BLOG! It didn’t take a lot of research at first to find out that there aren’t any specific “requirements” to start a blog, and anyone can do it! Yes, even with little writing skills or guidelines (just like in my case 😅)
And honestly… what was really stopping me from trying it? I knew I wanted to do it. I just needed to find a way to somehow be useful to my readers.
My idea was clear form the start – sharing everything I liked. With that in mind, thought I could provide and recommend the best rated products to anyone that had similar interests as me. Or better yet, help them find a new passion. And that’s the short story of how this website came to be. Since I am lucky to have quite a bit of free time, I to use it to help my visitors with unique tastes in their online shopping without worrying too much about reviews or prices. In fact, it’s my golden rule to always invest time to check the cutomers’ opinions and to make sure I only list items that have at least a 4,5/5 rating. Preferably more, of course!
A more personal note
At first glance this blog may seem mostly targeted towards individuals close to my own: young adult girls looking for recommendations – but really, Isabel’s Wishlist is for everyone! I want this website to feel like a timeless archive where you can find shopping inspo in any category, without boundaries. You’ll find an array of different niches here and that’s exactly how I wish to keep this website going. Some may find it messy, but I don’t mind. It should feel personal, like talking to a friend rather than skimming through soulless words.
I plan to be as honest and available as I can with you throughout my journey. Blogging isn’t the easiest at first, but I enjoy it! This is something I am gradually improving on and learning to love more with patience. I believe that in the future I will update this page with wonderful milestones and that my website will look much prettier and fuller (thanks to you too.)
